i did read yours. it was really fun
Oh good. Glad you enjoyed it
Let’s do another one
Risky and I are working out the categories for the movie walrus.
Tell it to Risky.
This is a delicate process. My first three attempts would have suspiciously required everyone to name the same movie.
Before you guys post any categories I’ll have it known that I’ll be submitting Over The Top for everything
I apologize for the delay everyone. Long day. I will figure this out with micro and hopefully make it worth the wait.
It better be!
or else
I was 100% certain that spoiler would be a Narrator
Thanks for the bump. I was planning on a reveal this afternoon. Stay tuned
Herro all. As the world burns I hope I can take your mind off things for a little bit.
Just a reminder, my guiding question when I listened to your submission was, would I want to listen to this again. The stronger the yes, the higher up on the list it appears. Bonus places were typically given to music I had not heard before, but most of this stuff was new to me, so generally that was a wash. Also, there are some notable exceptions to this as well.
Overall, this was another amazing category worth of submissions. There really isn’t anything wrong with any of the songs on this list. My subjective assessment of your submissions is my own and the rankings should not reflect poorly on the taste of anyone who scores low. jlawok.gif
Starting off in 17th place for one point is @pyatnitski with Galaxie 500 - Listen, the Snow is Falling
It sounds like a live version too. Coming in at over 8 minutes. Vocals are ok if shrill is your thing. Listen, the snow is falling over time. Listen, the snow is falling everywhere. Except when the guitar solo kicks in at about 4 minutes, which is pretty good tbh.
I forget which category this is lol
In 16th place, earning 2 points, is @LouisCyphre and The Devil’s Blood with Christ or Cocaine.
LC got a little unlucky here bc this brand of metal is not my thing and probably would have scored higher on with my co-host (Hi Riv!! ). In the ballpark of bands like Judas Priest or maybe Iron Maiden, it’s loud and fast, but not in the ways that would put this on the top of my playlist.
