Sorry, we’re back in lockdown here so trying to work full-time and look after a three year old enough so my wife can do the same. I’m afraid Walrus is probably among what has to give for the moment, so it might be next week before I can do a reveal.
I can kick off a somewhat rushed/low quality reveal in about 2 hours from now.
It’s probably better I do it this way, since I am not sure when I am going to find time to do a higher quality of writeups, so if I do the reveal today at least it will be quick and keep Pauwl from turning up on the doorsteps of those of us who haven’t revealed yet ;)
I’m listening in earnest today. Maybe reveal tomorrow.

Going to start revealing in about 1 hour from now. Get some salve ready for your bungholes, coz for 11 of you, they about to get hurt.
I’m fairly sure my glorious nodium/podium run is going to continue here - and I ain’t expecting a top 3
I seem to remember usually ending up in the Pauwl-zone for seities’ reveals.
I think I went high tariff on this submission so, well, that doesn’t usually pay off…
But, on the other hand, we can’t all be last!
Thanks to everyone for their submissions. It’s tricky to figure out good categories - I was hoping that this would be easy enough, but knowing that some still found it a struggle is food for thought, and I may try a different approach next time.
Regardless, I don’t think any submissions here were bad. A few just didn’t work for me, but I didn’t find this a slog by any measure.
On with the reveal…

Dusty Springfield - Haunted
I accept that this is very much a situation where I am the problem, not the song. It’s just way, way outside my area of listening.
I found it a bit tough because a lot of paranormal-like songs are on the slower side.
Diggin’ it.
Can’t listen yet but Dusty Springfield is great.

Trembling Bells - Otley Rock Oracle
I respect this entry. I really do.
I just don’t like it.
Really, well done on submitting something more experimental. I just didn’t like the vocals and found it hard to get into the song as a result.
Told you.
Hmm.
Yup, this definitely had a “rocks or diamonds” feel to it, so I thought it may be from the goat…
I can’t give you 1st place all the time, people will become suspicious.

Misfits - Dig Up Her Bones
You are in the right area with this song. My punk listening is generally more in line with punk hardcore/crossover, which this isn’t. Based on things I have previously submitted or ranked well, you almost certainly expected better for this entry. Sorry.
Also for the love of god let this not be a Yuv entry or I’ll never hear the end of it….

Radiohead - Subterranean Homesick Alien live
Submitter says: It’s the first song that came to mind. Being able to write from the perspective of an alien is pretty cool. First, you have to imagine what an alien is like and then imagine how an alien would perceive our world. That means you’d effectively have to create an alien world for that person to be able to contextualize their thoughts and feelings if they even had any. It’s a really cool given what it does.
Yup, truedat - as usual, Radiohead definitely offer something to think about. Unfortunately for our intrepid submitter, I am leaning away from slower, more introspective music in recent times. TMI I guess, but I need music to do more to distract me now than make me think.
With that said, Radiohead really have some phenomenal tracks and this is a strong submission that again deserves better.
