Men at Work - Dr. Heckyl & Mr. Jive
Review
Bless your heart.
Son of a bitch!
This feels like NBZ to me, although I wouldn’t rule out a goofy skydiver choice.
Edit: oops!
Yeah it’s a pretty bad song, lol, sorry.
Look at it this way my friend: you set the foundation for almost every reveal!
I knew I should have went with Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit
This was the song I was least confident in, so I’m ok with it.
Time for a Savage Speedersesque comeback

When In Rome - The Promise
Review
1988 was pretty good year for music for some people.
LOL, Men At Work have some good songs. This one…not my favorite.
and thanks @mjiggy for the vote of terribleness
Do you not like this song or is it just too well known? Because it’s pretty sweet imo but also almost 80 million views.
I did throw in ‘goofy’ because it seemed like a band you might like but not the song so much.
I like them ok. It’s not a band I have all the albums or posters on the wall, though.
I don’t think I had heard that song before.
So the first person who cracks the 70s wins?

Fun Boy Three - The Telephone Always Rings
Comments: From 1982. Catchy as hell and makes good use of all three singers.
Review
This song ran lukewarm and cold for me. Sometimes I kinda liked it and sometimes it annoyed me.
“I don’t know what to make of that. I sure do don’t.”
The Specials would have ranked higher.
Some bold choices so far.
yeah, these are not songs I would have chosen for Pauwl, no matter the category, heh.
managed to avoid a second nodium. This is good.
This was me, I had no clue what to submit for this as 80s is really old to me. So I tried to go new wave that wasn’t a huge and obvious hit. Expected this category to be a lock nodium.

I love the Fun Boy Three.
My brother from the age of 20 to30 was the spitting image of Terry Hall, the lucky bugger.
He is 57 now and looks like Dennis Healey (I am aware no-one has any idea who this is) so swings and roundabouts
