The genre was āsomething from a soundtrackā, seems like people had virtually unlimited songs to choose from. And they mostly chose poorly!
Well, an inferior version of a good song is still >>> than most of the other stuff Iāve heard so far. I do have to relisten to these songs at home where I have better sound than at work so maybe a few will come to life. Also since the other version is more well known I wonāt dock it for popularity.

the category is almost too wide, I think. I love soundtracks, but if you can think of a song, thereās a decent chance itās been on the soundtrack of something at some point.
I just picked a fun song from a fun band I like, basically. I wonāt be mad with my placement in your category, wherever it is.
I picked a song that i remember from a soundtrack instead of picking a song i like that happened to be on a soundtrack.

Thatās sort of what I figured people would do but I assumed it would result in more highs and lows with people swinging for the fences; instead I just got a bunch of stuff that I consider very medium. Maybe thatās just what people think of me! I wouldnāt blame them. I guess I shouldāve shared those soundtracks that I liked recently but I didnāt want to remove them from contention - lesson learned when going with a broad category. Still looking forward to figuring out the rankings for everything! There was a pretty clear top and bottom song but the rest is still a toss up and will take several listens to clarify for me.
Since everything is all good and drafted I will say that most songs off the Spiderman Into the Spiderverse would have crushed my category, as an example.
