Hollow Knight is also excellent. Haven’t played the Randomizer. Is that available on Switch or just PC?

Not sure about Switch or how modding would work on that platform; I have it on PC. You can randomize all sorts of shit-- mostly item locations, but you can even randomize the map-- either to make the connections between areas random or to make every room random. I tried to play through the latter once until I realized trying to keep it all straight in my head was driving me insane.

I’m not buying it right away because I want to let my GF get it for me for christmas but I am pumped about the new assassins creed.

How can I actually get my hands on a PS5 without spending $900 on ebay?

I was a huge fan of these games, might have to pick this up

I’m just finishing up Odyssey and it is great, I’m not sure about the whole Viking thing but these games rarely let me down

Call captain hindsight?

Funny I bought Origins when it first came out and maybe played 3 hours before I gave up.

I only bought Odyssey because I saw a deal on xbox when quarantine started back in March. Got it for like 13.99 or something ridiculous.

Fell in love with it.

Thought about trying Origins again but never went back.

Have you seen “The Last Kingdom” on Netflix? Great show and I’m getting a similar vibe with this game. Looking forward to it.

Best Buy blows. My preorder might come by Friday but they aren’t really sure. Neat.

That’s why you pre order, so you might get it when it comes out.

Anyone scooping a ps5? Godfall looks awesome.

I’m waiting til January. There really is no rush, launch titles are essentially available on all current gen systems.

Looking forward to the SSD, but aside from that there is nothing immediately pressing to get to. Imagine if the generation launched with GTA VI or Elder Scrolls VI. We wouldnt be able to find one for 6 months.

Yea kinda weird they launched it without any huge titles.

Demon Souls tho.

I never had a ps3 so I did not even play the original.

Replaying Subnautica on the easier level where you don’t have to worry about food and water and it’s a pretty chill experience for these times. Just swimming around and building a dope underwater seabase.

I think Walmart is making some available at 12 3 6 and 9 EST tomorrow but lol gl with that.

I’m not sure how far I got into subnautica, exactly, but I would have enjoyed it more as a pure survival game without the islands and giant crashed spaceship and huge alien lair and stuff. You’re right that the game can be very chill when you’re just diving, checking out some cool fish, grabbing some cool resources, maybe eating a few of those fish that somehow replenish your oxygen, and then air bladdering back to the surface to do it again. Like a much calmer version of Green Hell.

At some point I got Abzu for free on PS4 which is basically an undersea exploration game without the pressure of doing other stuff, if people are into that kind of thing.
