Were you a fan of Fallout: New Vegas? Would you compare it to Wasteland 3 at all? I’m probably done with gaming but still looking for that unicorn that could suck me back in 1 last time.
I could see how it would be similar to Fallout, if you’re ok with managing an entire team instead of one person.
Beware. There are some major frustrations. The game crashes frequently (on console I’ve heard PC has been patched to fix this) and there is no confirmation message for quick load… which is right next to quick save. I just lost ten minutes of progress trying to save everything I just did
a lot like fallout with turn-based combat. cool stories and lore from post-apocalyptic america, also mutants and cannibals and moral decisions to be made. top game. after 50 hours i saw the story was wrapping up and i got mad that it was gonna be over.
it’s got the fallout 3 thing where you can cause different endings, so i’m excited to play it again with different goals.
I have been playing it. It’s a perfect remake. Feels like I never stopped playing from decades ago.
Lol, this is the exact reason I never actually finished Fallout:New Vegas. This game sounds special.
Isn’t Wasteland closer to the original isometric Fallout games more so than Fallout:NV? My understanding is that the closest thing to Fallout:NV is The Outer Worlds, also by Obsidian.

Gameplay wise, yeah it’s a top down turn based combat RPG. Thematically, it’s very similar to NV.
You should give The Witcher 3 a really hard look. When you finish that Cyberpunk will probably be out and you can do that next.
Pretty insane value for $499. Definitely preordering.

man, I am really having a blast with this game despite its stupid bugs and shitty decisions UI wise.
Microsoft really fucked up with its naming conventions. It’s like they had a meeting and said, “Let’s come up with the most confusing fucking names we can think of so grandma definitely gets her grandson the wrong thing for Christmas.”

I gotta say, with Covid abound I am shocked they are making the Holiday 2020 deadline. Woulda lost a lot of money in the “Will next gen consoles be out this year” market.
