cyberpunk is claiming to have 1 million daily users, I might have to fire it back up again. I played at launch and loved it, went for a near 100% complete on it too. the thing about 100% completing a game though is you tend to never want to play it again.
I really need to stop procrastinating and do this, Iāve had decent gaming PCs since I left college but my current rig is so old and worthless. Canāt play anything new and I think it might be straight up dying on me. I have a laptop that can play most modern games but not at high settings and I prefer a desktop. Are components actually available now for reasonable prices or is all that stuff still fucked?
Video cards are going to be the limiting component. Check if you can get something decent there, and if so, the rest should be fine.
Working on 100%ing my next semi casual game āYou suck at Parking.ā
It isnt super difficult, but getting a perfect on a few of these levels is astoundingly hard
AMD is going to release the Ryzen 7000 series next week which should put some price pressure on the 5000 processors.
Digital version of Gloomhaven is free on epic games this week. Time to finally learn the gameā¦
Wrapping up what I think is my first complete ironman ck3 run all the way from 867 to 1493, starting off in lol Iceland.
Truly the hardest achievement.
Played this fairly recently and had similar feelings. Good but not great. The EMMIs are definitely a neat innovation but I wanted more to differentiate the game from prior installments.
I enjoy super hard challenges, so I was intrigued by the 1HP Dread Mode, but you have to beat the game twice to unlock it and you donāt get to carry anything over (not even the maps) to the replay. Very lame so I didnāt bother.
A bunch of my Discord friends are playing Omega Strikers, which Iām told is like a cross between Rocket League and League of Legends, although more on the RL side. It sounds like a lot of fun but I havenāt had a chance to boot it up yet, just thought Iād make people aware of it in case it sounds interesting to them.
wrath of the lich king comes out today which means my game bandwidth is gonna be completely saturated til 2024, gg life nice knowing you
Itās astonishing to me that WoW is still a thing after all these years. What a run.
classic is far more popular now than when it originally came out 15 years ago. has an appeal to the next generation of gamers, even though much of it is extremely outdated by modern standards. bit confusing
this particular expansion though is widely considered their best one ever. itās so good that even with activisionās greed and incompetence, they still wonāt be able to fuck it up.
I do miss the WotLK priest lightwell, circle of healing, a guardian spirit.
A priest main then?
Man, I highly dislike Wow, but love hearthstone. Its a weird dichotomy.
Lol I got way deeper into hearthstone than I ever did WoW, so every time I see some character ingame thatās a hearthstone card Iām like
I leveled a priest to 70 from questing. donāt do this. priest is basically wanding and has to full drink after every fkn pull til lvl 50 and it doesnt get much more tolerable after that.
heās a profession alt now and I dress him ridiculously because I hate him so much. I didnt even know different races got different priest abilties so i chose the worst fkn one, blood elf.
because heās the only character that quested to 70 that I have, heās gonna inevitably be my loremaster toon if I ever get around to itā¦ fml
Finally got around to playing the remastered Mass Effect games. Loved them just as much this time as my original plays, took about 110 hours to get through all 3 and Iāll probably give 3 a couple more runs using different classes. I always played as Vanguard and I want to try a couple other builds.
is the remastered 1st game just a graphics remaster or did they add any QoL stuff? I find it way too outdated compared to the last 2 to play it anymore.
It has been a long time since I played the original 1 but I think they did add/tweak some combat mechanics. Also the stupid Mako vehicle defintely got some updates.
I didnāt mind playing it at all, inventory management is still way more of a thing compared to the next couple games but it wasnāt bad.
