Hi guys.
I donāt want to brag or anything but I beat Super Mario 64 in 2 hours and 34 minutes last night. Good for 998 out of 1001 recorded times.

speedrun.com suggests 1000 out of 1012 if itās on real hardware 1011 out of 1032 emulator for 70 star
still though I probably couldnāt fire up the game and beat that right now
these darn kids and their free time and updated strategies and being better anyway
I might have got the time wrong. Pretty sure I was 998th but youāre correct obviously.
Emulators are cheating. Still have my original 64 from 2000
just post it on another site, on cyberscore youād be 14th

Do you still play? I tried to get a group going when it first came out, but never could.
My friend (former poker player) and I were obsessed with this game. We bet on matches and came up with a long-term points system where weād award 10 pts for a crown, 1 for winning a stage, -2 if eliminated in round 1, etc. etc.
I havenāt played for about 6 months, but looks like they added several interested new stages.
Main thing that sucks is working your way to a final then itās one of the super shit ones like Fall Mountain or Hidden Temple. Hex-a-Gone is still the GOAT.
Yeah. Iām usually on around 9p EST right after my kid falls asleep.

Really impressed with Stray, for a $30 indie game, this has an incredible amount of polish. Want to re-recommend 12 Minutes as another game from the same studio, Annapurna, which is an arthouse movie company that has branched out into making fresh and interesting little videogames. Iām really interested in seeing what other games come out of this studio down the road.

I think a publisher but donāt really know, tbh I donāt follow the business end of videogames much, I just saw their logo in the title cards.
Didnāt play Outer Wilds but Iāve head good things about that one as well.
Annapurna did Maquette too, which is a cute short puzzle game. Outer Wilds is a must play.
I gotta check that out. Little puzzlers are some off the most creative things going on in videogames right now.

Outer wilds has a ps5 update coming out in a month that should fix/up framerates so Iām still holding off for that as its pretty awful right now.
In other news I dusted off $300 for a fight stick from korea so that I can more efficiently lose to 13 year olds at tekken 7/8 and sf6.
