Yeah pass and playing it with the wife its perfect for that. Not much of a game really and probably overrated but cheap and original. Wonder when the inevitable pupper game comes out.
$30 for 8 hours is about as expensive of a game as it gets, if it was a full fledged game Iād probably buy it.
The price point is too high. I like that the studio is producing a quality indie game experience but gamers are pretty demanding and $30 should get you more gameplay than that.
I kinda want to go back and replay the goose game.

Ha, I always find myself comparing the price of games to movies for some reason. Full game price is like 4 movies, but a good one lasts for like 50+ movie lengths. Then you do something idiotic like order Far Cry 6 when youāre high, but it was only $15.
So playing some more Tekken 7 for some reason. When you go into a game it gives you an option to start on the left or right side, I prefer right because uh I can giant swing easier that way.
Iāve never been forced to start on the left side i.e. my opponent has also picked right and Iāve lost the coin toss presumably. Yesterday I finally figured out why.
when i played sf4 semi competitively i ended up picking characters that liked to do crossover mixup attacks (whatever its called where you jump over your opponents head while attacking to make them guess which way to block) because I was so so bad at being on the right side attacking left. my first 100 hours of playing left was the only side i played.
Into the Breach apparently just had a massive update, time to dive back in

anyone playing street fighter 5 champion omegawtfbbq whatever edition?
I played SF IV pretty religiously. loved it, even at the end of its run when a few characters were ridiculously OP (cough, cammy, cough).
Then V came out and it was pretty meh at first. theyāve had 6 years though, clearly, and I got it again last night after someone told me to give it another try - bit salty that my main, dictator, lost his psycho crusher spin move but the game feels and plays great. I miss ultimates still, but the V trigger system is far more flexible and gives a lot more
options so itās obviously better.
canāt decide who I wanna main. dhalsim looks like he got a complete overhaul, wanted to be good with him since I was a kid but heās either complete ass or just sort of OK in every SF iteration. I won a few games with ryu last night somehow after I realized that super smashās entire ryu moveset is 100% identical, which means I accidentally know how to play ryu.

you might be waiting a while, they typically only do major street fighter versions about once a decade

Sometimes I like to play Impostors, the Among Us mode in Fortnite, as a change of pace. There are two version: voice chat and no voice chat. I always play no voice chat because Iām afraid of shit like this:

man SF V is sick. Iām really kicking myself for sleeping so long on this game. season 1 and 2 was so bad I just completely forgot about it for half a decade and now it looks like a really solid title. the elimination of the ultra bar from SF IV means matchups are less about finding a big hit confirm into a massive damage combo and more about spacing and smart footsies, which iām good at and like. you have to actually make decisions around your EX meter now, whereas previously youād just sort of use it as you got it.
they got really creative with a few character mechanics and i absolutely love the v skills even though thereās not quite as much customization as it would initially appear, most chars only have 1 good v skill.
I got a 10 win streak on my old main, blanka and climbing faster than I thought I would. they nerfed the shit out of him but heās still interesting and annoying as always. itās pretty hilarious popping his v trigger and chaining specials with electric spam, Iām not sure how you counter it but people seem to just die. one rant tho - EX ball doesnt go through projectiles anymore? LOL. that was his only approach on some zoning characters that spam fireball like ryu/ken. who the fuck at capcom was like āyou know what, blanka is too powerful, nerf his best punish.ā they also nerfed the shit out of his slide too, that used to hit full screen and now itās barely a quarter.
was watching some old pros I used to like, daigo obv, and it looks like heās playingā¦ guile??? wtf is going on in 2022 yo.
overall at least at low levels the thing Iām very impressed with is every character in the roster (except dan lol) feels strong, and the difference between S tier and B tier seems far less than in previous titles.
also @grue i looked it up, lots of pros use gamepad, a few have won evo with them , no excuses
I have 2000+ hours of rocket league and thereās a lot of squeaky kids on there so yea. theyāre usually pretty nice until they turn 12-13 and then the hormones kick in and they become monsters.

I got voice banned in rocket league for a year because one kid was talking shit really bad and said I was old enough to be his dad, and I was drunk but I remember saying something like āthats right, so shut up before i beat you like yours doesā and he got completely quiet. not my best moment. he said some vicious and racist shit, in my defense. because of my screen name i get the n word thrown at me a lot.
fuck you fucking turtle akuma just chilling right out of range of all my crap and spamming sweep on me the whole game. i got pissed and went goblin mode
