Working my way through Darkest Dungeon and I’m really enjoying it. Does anyone have any commentary on whether Darkest Dungeon 2 is worth playing next?

The story in the first game was fantastic, sad to hear. The Travis character was by far the worst in the storyline so that sucks that he’s reappearing. Still waiting for PC to play it.
Seems like most necros want the trigger craft there, so you could go multimod, trigger and minion damage crafts, and just be done. Subsequently slamming a crusader orb could give you aura effect for a damage aura you’re using, or a curse on hit. Exotic and more expensive and speculative would be to multimod with the minion damage prefix and prefixes cannot be changed, and the hitting it with a T4 Aisling. Then you’ll have a 2/3 chance to hit either of the non-multimod crafts (if Aisling removes the multimod, you’ll want to scour and try again). You’d be hoping to hit either the minion speed craft or the trigger suffix with the 4s cooldown instead of the 8s cooldown of the crafted trigger. Then you craft on one more thing.

I only have like 5 ex liquid right now. The Aisling way seems like it could potentially bankrupt me if I have a run of bad luck. I thought about saving prefixes, veil chaos for minion cast speed, craft trigger, then crusader slam for Zealotry effect.
Veiled chaos risks giving you too many extra, non-veiled suffixes. You have to use Aisling and prefixes can’t be changed with full prefixes to force a single veiled suffix.

Why does Crusader Kings think learning a foreign language is more stressful than losing a child? This duke I’m playing as has racked up like 80 points of stress trying to learn Arabic, he’s about to have a critical breakdown because of his Arabic homework wtf.

Finished Sniper Elite 5 yesterday. Pretty fun, similar to the other games in the series. It has some stealth aspects and some crappy Hitman knock off ways to kill targets. I started out “kill everyone” style and then later started to play more stealth. Kinda fucked up playing this game after what’s been going in in USA lately.
ETA: Looking forward to The Quarry. Supposed to be a decent Until Dawn follow up game. The Dark Pictures games were ok (last one was really good) but paled to Until Dawn imo.

gotta admit this surprised me quite a bit, I had heard internal whisperings that the project was hopelessly stalled. Wonder what they gutted.
They just had the first beta period a few weeks ago.
