Yep. I even tried to get head from the head but we ended up just being friends.

They got #1 right. Iā€™m not much of a gamer and have only played a few of those games, but I would have guessed Skyrim would have made the list.

Rocket League is pretty clearly the GOAT sports game and this list has 0 competitive games on it.

Id put Xcom 2 ahead of EU, but I might be in the minority there.

Also, no Crosscode?

How are the final fantasy pixel remakes? The previous ports were god awful. Thinking of pulling the trigger on this

Speaking of Rocket League. Iā€™ve hit my ceiling at Plat 3 Div 2. Just canā€™t seem to push past this hump into Diamond.

Iā€™ve hung around P3-D2 in every bracket for like 3 years. There was one week a couple months ago where I started actually playing well and won ~every game, then it went poof and I suck again.

Childhood challenge conquered

Final Fantasy 1 beat. I loved/hated that game growing up. I had it on the original NES and the original was a slog. Lots and lots of grinding just to buy something. My game had a bug in it too that in the ice cave , about 3/4ths of the way through the game, it would crash and the save file would be corrupted. I slogged through it twice up to that point and had the game crash and my progress erased so I eventually gave up.

The pixel remastered game is a pretty good remaster. The graphics are really good. It has updated animations, the soundtrack is from the original composer and has updated music that isnā€™t the same tracks but subtle variations on it.

The main difference and itā€™s a bit of a blessing and curse for this is they made it a lot easier. I never had to grind for anything. I had the gil I needed whenever I needed it. I didnā€™t really have to level grind either. I never had anyone die until the last dungeon, and they put in an auto battle system so they game will repeat whatever your last action was so you can just kill off the mobs if youā€™re overpowered without the grind. It made getting through the game a lot easier than it would have been otherwise. For a game thatā€™s more slog than story I didnā€™t mind it as much.

I finally finished Crosscode with all DLC 100%

Magnificent. I told my wife its in my top 5 all time and she asked what my top 5 was and thought it would be a good topic for the thread.

Guess what my favorite console is based on my top 5.

  1. A Link to the Past
  2. Super Mario Bros. 3
  3. Xcom 2
  4. Crosscode
  5. Super Metroid

What say you?

Well, two of the five are SNES games, so that would be my guess.

I am hilariously bad at Deathloop, anyone getting anywhere with this? Like the aggro radius is huge and I kill one guy and 5 more come flying out of the library etc and I eat shit constantly.

To whoever was talking about New World bricking cards

I wonder if the warranty is valid if they bought those cards from a reseller lol

About 5 hours into Pathfinder: wrath of the righteous right now. About 2 of those spent in character creator. Pretty sweet crpg so far

Replaying the Arkham Asylum remaster for the umpteenth time. What an absolute masterpiece in terms of gameplay, aesthetics, worldbuilding, voice acting, sound design, etc. And the sequel builds on all of it.

Iā€™ve also started The Outer Worlds, which is a Fallout-style RPG. Scratches the same itches that Fallout did and also annoys me in the same ways Fallout did. Not a must-play but Iā€™m enjoying it so far.
