I fell asleep after the LB finals when I couldn’t find any value bets for the finals. Fortunately I didn’t try to bet my feelings because I wouldn’t have picked the right side.
Final score betting mostly arbable lines: 217-184, +60.5u, 5.34% ROI. I was salty at the end because I ended up with a lot on Secret v Spirit G2 and tried to hedge out with a really absurd +275 live line but got denied. Still a solid profit for watching video games for a week.
Any tips for a noob acquiring a PS5? My friend is trying to find one for his kid for Christmas obviously, and apparently its hard. Was trying to spam up a Gamestop drop but struck out.

Octoshop chrome extension worked for me to ping me when stuff was coming up but I got mine back in january. There’s discords, subreddits, twitter accounts to follow, etc.

I followed a bunch of Twitter accounts that updated you when drops were imminents/happening; they seemed to be on the ball but the PS5s would still often sell out within minutes. Got one at Target several months back since they were in-store only and one out-of-way location in my city had a few in stock even ~20 minutes after it was posted.
I gave up in March. Knowing it would be a year before the chip shortage was done. Just bought one on eBay.
So glad I am not sweating a PS5 again this year. I think I have PTSD from it.
I am constantly telling my wife “I need to see if anyone on UP knows.”

I’d say you can pre-order single player games that aren’t meant for online, but those are very rare.

Darkest Dungeon 2 is shaping up to be a complete disaster, despite my high hopes. So much of the gameplay that made the first one a unique management simulator has been gutted. Artwork is still incredible. It’s still in early access, but I don’t see how this game recovers its footing. good news is that it’s made me thirsty to the original masterpiece that was Darkest Dungeon.
Inscryption is GOTY so far. I watched forsen play it at launch and he was high af or something, he had no idea what he was doing. Marvellous.
The slate review says if you have even the tiniest inkling you might play it at some point to not read any reviews out there.
