I’ve said it before, but this is the greatest UFC or boxing walk out song ever.

And I’m breaking my own rules and posting two. An amazing Foo Fighters song that many people don’t know.

You thought I was gonna let a letter go without foreign language music?

Say hello to LADYBABY, one of Japan’s first kawaii metal band

Once Ladybeard left, the band kinda faded. Without a cross-dressing gaijin, they’re just not the same.

I went back and forth about posting this on F day or N day…I chose N day since I think most people know this song as “Nothing But Flowers” even though the first two words are parenthetical. This is my favorite Talking Heads song and on my top 10 songs of all time list. Also, its message has never been irrelevant, which is both sad and impressive at the same time.

I admittedly don’t listen to much rap. When I do, it sounds more like this:

FWIW I’ve been sorting any songs that start with a parenthetical title this way. (Great song, too.)

I dunno if I have any slam-dunk must-posts for N, but I have a handful of favorites (including three off the same album I might get to later). Let’s start with a 60s classic from a band that struggled in life but found belated critical acclaim.

I could post so many of them that I’m reserving it for only my true favorites.
