My guess is most short wars don’t have enough opportunities for war crimes.
I have been watching major wars and world events happen in real time since Iraq War 1.0. This isn’t what they look like.
That may be coming, and very soon. But to me it increasingly seems like it has not happened yet. So far all I have seen evidence of is limited air and missile strikes against a small number of targets. I do not think the scale of what has happened is anywhere near what we were led to believe a couple hours ago.

MSNBC just showed more tanks and missile launchers coming across the same border crossing. It’s kind of surreal that Russia hasn’t taken that camera out yet.
There are reports that Poland, Lithuania and Slovakia have also invoked Article 4 of NATO, along with Latvia.
They probably should. Article 5 is the WW3 level scary one.
