Surely we have the mental capacity to
a) think that western powers are heavily responsible for both their own war crimes and for the many problems in the international system
And
b) recognize that democracies are both better and different from
(checks notes)

Ukraine should never agree to any of this and the West should supply Ukraine sufficiently to minimize the chances of any of this coming to pass.
Ukraine will never agree to any of it. But if Russia can take it and force a stalemate, Ukraine won’t have a choice. See Finland and a host of other countries that Russia took bites out of.
