Yahoo News isn’t know for breaking stories. If this story is a big deal, then why not the NY Times or CNN? I don’t think it’s an objection so much as it is thinking that it is weird.
There was also a large number of Russian military planes that flew east this morning from Moscow, then circled back. OSINT Twitter takes range from “totally normal, no big deal,” to “holy shit this could be a sign he’s going nuclear.”
So, nobody seems to have a clue. The Moscow → Dubai stuff is probably oligarchs GTFO after that speech, right?
I am just going to assume that translates as McDowell’s.

flying is only one component. modern drones are parts of more complex missions, coordinating with troops on the ground, targeting artillery, painting or guiding munitions, flying in the same space as multiple other uavs, jamming or even attracting attention.
