Yeah but when the opposing troops have NLAWs and javelins, that doesn’t seem to work out as well.
Yeah, those aren’t given out to just anyone who asks.

Pretty sure Finland already took Russia to the woodshed once, and they won’t be invading them again (at least in winter)
Pretty sure I’d be abandoning my tank too if the enemy was flush with NLAWs and javelins and my leadership was completely inept at protecting me.
From that article:
Oh, no, the Nazis are doing it. Just not the ones you mean, you propagandist prick.
“Military prosecutors have launched an investigation to punish those officials responsible”.
I think I have a pretty good idea of which official is responsible.
Also, Finland isn’t Scandi.
Wait, what?
Scandinavia is Finland, Sweden, Norway, and maybe Denmark and maybe Iceland.
edit: It appears that due to some 15th century technicality Finland isn’t Scandinavia, but it really should be.
2nd edit: It looks as though it was early 16th century and it was a Swede who came up with the idea of Scandinavia so it was probably hatred of the Finns as to why he excluded them.
One argument for Finland not being a Scandinavian country is that Finnish is not a Scandinavian language.
This is where we bring up the term “Nordic countries”.
This doesn’t make any sense, isn’t Sweden the capital of Finland?
Yes on Denmark for sure. Iceland, Faroe Islands, Greenland less obvious but ok. No on Finland.
Don’t forget the Faroe Islands, Spitsbergen and Northern Ireland
Finland is partly on the Scandinavian Peninsula, but culturally Scandinavia are the parts of the peninsula where Danish, Norwegian and Swedish are spoken.
This is also the internal designation:
Skandinavien är ett geografiskt område i norra Europa som omfattar Danmark, Norge och Sverige, där man talar skandinaviska språk.
If you want to include Finland (and the other areas where North Germanic languages are spoken - Iceland, Faroes) then you would use Nordic:
Also, Finland used to have a Hessian prince as king for a month or so.
