Yes, and this is the off ramp. Russia just annexes huge swathes of the country and tells Zelensky to “come and get it” if he doesn’t like it.
Obviously the financial sanctions, etc. stay in place in this scenario.
I’m not saying these are our only choices, but if it’s 1) x% chance of the end of humanity vs 2) give Putin Ukraine, how high does x need to be for 2 to be the correct option?

So any meaningful updates overnight? e.g. Was there bombing all night of Kiev like there has even precious night? Feel like I haven’t seen much. Maybe I missed stuff earlier in the thread.
I just generally keep an eye on the BBC live updates page. Nothing earth-shattering there.

you mean other than stealing like 1.5 million or w/e that was documents including military stuff and just handing it over to “journalists in hong kong” aka russian spies or people who deliver such things to russian spies (what he said at first, later claimed he destroyed them)
also doing this by using other people’s logins to obtain said documents

Just a bit too…convenient? I dunno. Maybe I’m dumb but I am pretty sure Russia could obliterate Ukraine in 15 minutes. So clearly they are trying to do this with one hand tied behind their backs. Meh it’s all unnerving.
Good questions without good answers. On the one hand, we don’t get to deal with Moldova if he deploys nukes over Ukraine. On the other hand, giving him Ukraine emboldens him to continue.
I’m beginning to think maybe these nuclear weapons are no bueno!
