My understanding was that the allies stopped trying to assassinate Hitler at a certain point due to his poor military decisions. A quick Google search turns up nothing. Probably an apocryphal story I picked up watching too much History Channel in the late '90s and early '00s.

Has anyone seen confirmation that Kharkiv is still in Ukrainian control? If so that seems pretty bad for Putin as they didn’t even try for Kyiv last night, and every extra day is a chance for more weapons to arrive from UA’s allies.
