Yeah it’s really beautiful as is that whole region (West Ukraine/South-East Poland), would highly recommend visiting if it’s still there if/when this ends.

I vividly remember duck and cover. I can close my eyes and go back to the classroom, under the desk, during drills, peaking out the window to see if anything is coming.
Hard to believe we lived with that reality every day. It certainly seems refreshed at the moment. Just now we don’t pretend ducking will do any good.
