Surprised it is so quiet on the diplomatic front about NK sending troops to help Russia. Getting the feeling Ukraine will die a slow death because the West is occupied with their own Nazis. The world is going to shit: Ukraine, Middle East, Africa, maybe Taiwan and yeah the little thing called climate change. Fun times to be alive.

I often wonder how much that would influence politics in the west if Putin’s Russia were to have some kind of collapse and the propaganda army stopped.

I feel like Ukraine is part of the battle against right wing extremism and victory there could stop the whole world going to shit trend

Some good news for the region.

In before Kremlin Kamala!

the kremlin has enlisted 10,000 NK troops (with estimates up to 100k) that have reportedly already been seeing combat. Two events of deep sea fiber cable being disrupted in NE europe. US missiles being provided that may be launched into Russian territory. Am I crazy that this seems like it is escalating?

Biden wants to do as much damage to Russia as possible before Trump stops supporting NATO and hands Ukraine to Russia on a silver platter.

So how much ability do the big power players in Europe have to pick up the slack if/when Trump cuts off Ukraine (to be fair, it remains to be seen how hard he’ll really go for this if there’s pushback from Congress)? It’s certainly not in any of their best interests to see Ukraine fall, but obviously none of them have the sheer volume of weaponry just laying around that we do, either.

the russians being super mad ukraine can hit russia back now screaming this is an escalation of war

what you gonna do strike missiles into ukraine over it?

**** off

they’re not really interested, germany is too busy kissing up to them for gas

EU countries can easily support Ukraine enough to keep the current stalemate going. Even individual countries like France, Germany and UK could manage this. Not sure of they are going to if Trump pulls US support completely.

But that doesnt make any sense. Even if Germany stops supporting Ukraine eager to get that cheap gas running again I doubt that Trump will just stay idle by. He is all about “America First” so I think he would get mad if Germany stops buying US liquid gas because of Russian gas. Even if our Russia-friendly parties are aiming for the gas I doubt they really consider how the US and the rest of Europe will react. The sanctions are still in place and the US has no reason to do us any favours. Trump hates the trade deficit between the US and Germany.

Seems unlikely given below which is with US support.

Russia currently on a war footing manufacturing 3m shells a month which excludes shells being shipped by NK and Iran. Europe producing 1m shells if we’re lucky!

Probably why Biden now shipping the anti-personnel mines as no UKR troops left in central east either

The most lol biden/worst timeline outcome is if somehow pressure is ratcheted up high enough on Russia to force them to think about negotiating and trump swoops in and brokers a peace deal. lol. To me though, the NK troops was a bad sign - while it signals russia may be running out of bodies to throw into the slaughter, NK has over a million troops and they arent exactly doing much. I think the ultimate outcome is russia wins the war of attrition, hard to see it going any other way

I’d say a worse outcome is Trump allowing Russia to run over Ukraine and still claim credit for creating peace.

Biden definitely trying to give Trump a better hand to negotiate with and obviously it is the right thing to do. People barely remember what happened last week so immaterial in whatever 2028 Presidential election we get anyway.

European NATO countries have more than enough supplies left. Mostly modern weapons that they still refuse to give to Ukraine. Russian war production is not sustainable and they already use way more artillery shells without much progress. The only real threat is North Korean troops if they ever get deployed in significant numbers.
