Iâve realised whatâs especially tilting about these two is the way the fucker has the assault rifle. Itâs like those annoying people that play guitar with it way too high.
They will never do that.
Wouldnât it be easier to just split CA into like 12 blue states that still have a higher population than all those states? Does that take a constitutional amendment? Do we need 67 senators for that or can CA do it on its own? I know I had some right wing dipshits come to my door a few times wanting to split CA into 3 states with I think two of them being red LOL
Partitioning a state requires the approval of Congress and of the state legislature. The other issue is is California can be split into 3 or 5 or 10, why canât Texas?
Although, if I were the Democrats I might be looking to split Texas up anyway. You could pretty easily split it into one red state and two blue states. Never the less, it would start the back and forth on just partitioning up states out of naked partisanship, so youâd need to pass a law to reign that in a bit. One might be to legislate the minimum population of any new state borne out of the partitioning of an old state.
Another might be some sort of a gerrymandering ban on drawing new state maps. Say that any new state partitioned may only be created by drawing two new borders, each being a straight line, and the two new borders forming an angle that is greater than 60 degrees. This could be overridden by a super majority. So the worst you could do to gerrymander would be to create a pie-slice shaped state with a population over X.
BTW this would be GTO for the Dems next time they take Congress, given the GOPâs behavior the last 12 years:
- Pass HR1, add statehood for PR and the USVI (DC is already in the bill). Include a ban on gerrymandering, if there isnât one already.
- Restore the VRA.
- Split California in three and pass the above regarding new states.
- Impeach Kavanaugh.
- When you donât get your 67 votes to remove Kegstand Kavanaugh, pack the court with three young liberal justices. One for blocking Garland, one for ramming Kavanaugh through with all that bullshit, and one more because fuck you, there are consequences - you donât get to freeroll us and the consequences are what should have happened happening. No, weâre going to take our pound of retaliatory flesh so that the next time you clowns get any ideas, you remember that there will be consequences.
Theyâre already gerrymandering the fuck out of us. They must be shown that there are consequences. Sucking it up is a recipe to be on the receiving end of more of the same in the future. They arenât going to stop abusing norms and using their power to create more power unless they are punished for it.
First thing thatâs missing is you donât make DC one state, you make it 12. Congress can do it alone, itâll pack the Senate for a generation which is what you need to do any of the other stuff.
Someone needs to gif the frick out of James Woods as an s&m cuck in that shittastic film he did with John Travolta.
âThe Generalâs Daughter.â Legit bottom 100 of all time. Still remember Travolta cracking the case when he randomly spots a key piece of evidence on the top of a building half a mile away.

A local road commission meeting in northern Michigan on Monday started with one commissioner asking another why he wasnât wearing a mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The unmasked official responded with a racist slur and an angry rant against the Black Lives Matter movement.
âWell, this whole thing is because of them n-----s in Detroit,â Tom Eckerle, who was elected to his position on the Leelanau County Road Commission in 2018, told his colleague at the start of the public meeting.
The commission chairman, Bob Joyce, immediately rebuked his colleague, but Eckerle, who is White, continued his diatribe.
âI can say anything I want,â Eckerle said at the meeting, which the public could listen to via a dial-in number, the Leelanau Enterprise first reported. âBlack Lives Matter has everything to do with taking the country away from us.â
âŚ
The racist remark spurred widespread condemnation of Eckerle, who is a Republican, and calls to resign from party officials. Despite the backlash, Eckerle doubled down on his comments Thursday, defending his position and using the slur repeatedly in an interview with the local public radio station.
âI donât regret calling it a n----r,â Eckerle told Interlochen Public Radio. âA n----r is a n----r is a n----r. Thatâs not a person whatsoever.â
âŚ
State Rep. Jack OâMalley (R), who represents Leelanau County, said he had a conversation with Eckerle and also asked the commissioner to step down.
âI reached out to this Commissioner and asked for his side of the story,â OâMalley said in a statement on Facebook. âHe confirmed to me he did use the racist slur. After some discussion I asked Mr. Eckerle to resign. He refused.â
But how is that racist?
He is very âpassionateâ about his country, ldo.
He just believes in freedom of speech. Iâm sure all you people are champing at the bit to cancel him.
I did not mean to do it so i did it twiceâŚ
