The two languages sound very different from each other. A person who has never heard either language could tell that they are separate languages. Theyâd even be able to correctly guess which one is Thai because theyâd assume itâs the one theyâve never heard in their entire life.
For real. Most of my students speak at least 3 languages (Czech, German, English) at a conversational level. Others can also add Vietnamese, Russian, Slovak or Ukrainian to that list too since their family is from there.
I speak English and Nova Scotian, bây.
