Yeah the leader of the magas has to be fat, entitled, whiny, lazy, and stupid otherwise they won’t feel genuine.
I will repeat myself. An incompetent coup attempt is still a coup attempt.
Current vote is 51-2. Coup attempt.
Yeah this stuff is driving me crazy. They chased members of Congress out of the chambers! Its a big deal!
Fwiw, I certainly call it a coup attempt and what Trump was doing was orchestrating it, whether he thought it through or was just wildly asking all his allies to come and fight for him and let them take it from there.
Not all plans for un or poorly armed people to occupy the seat of power just lead to nothing.
Early plans[edit]
Despite its post-revolutionary mythology, the march was not a spontaneous event.[7] Numerous calls for a mass demonstration at Versailles had already been made; the Marquis of Saint-Huruge, one of the popular orators of the Palais-Royal, had called for just such a march in August to evict the obstructionist deputies who, he claimed, were protecting the King’s veto power.[8] Although his efforts were foiled, revolutionaries continued to hold onto the idea of a march on Versailles to compel the King to accept the Assembly’s laws.[8][9] Speakers at the Palais-Royal mentioned it regularly throughout the next month,[10] creating enduring suspicions of the proprietor, Louis Philippe II, Duke of Orléans.[11] The idea of a march on Versailles was widespread, and was even discussed in the pages of the Mercure de France (5 September 1789).[7] A menacing unrest was in the air,[12] and many nobles and foreigners fled the oppressive atmosphere.[
Do we, though?
Some of us do. You don’t need to agree with everything he says to think he’s a breath of fresh air sometimes.
wtf is the new avatar?
Kinda seems like it’s just the same zero-effort attention-seeking routine he’s been doing for years, but I guess some people are entertained by it.
I mean I think that they should all be charged with seditious conspiracy and Trump should be impeached and removed for fomenting a seditious riot. So yeah it’s a big deal.
Will be just like the GOP to have gone along with Trump this whole time and now be like “Oh noes we actually didn’t mean it!”, remove Trump with <2 weeks left in his term, and be granted forgiveness for the last four years. One thing I am sure of is that their being complicit this whole time will be quickly forgotten no matter what and the focus will once again be on Trump as a singular corrupting force.

Hell of a quote to give live. Joe is furious.
Longer clip:
I thought that guy was a Fox news guy?
Long time ago.
So he just changes his views depending on his employer?
All the people deciding to resign now are like husbands who made the decision to stop cheating on their wife. You get zero points for that. Some only consider to stop cheating on their wife and think that alone should get them back in our good graces.
That’s kind of rude, Jbro.
I took his transition to be genuine. I don’t feel like summarizing it but would encourage you to familiarize yourself with his story.
Or I’m sure someone else will be along to set you straight :P
Nothing like getting paid five million dollars a year to generate a genuine change of heart.
I don’t think was ever on Fox.
But he used to be a Repub Congressman from FL.
Wow, I guess not. I really thought he was a Fox guy. Thanks for the correction.
It always amuses me that we can watch live insurrections and all sorts of sketchy things and not be offended, but look out if somebody drops an f-bomb. It was the right word for the situation. Plus Joe is on cable, so there’s no obscenity issue like there could be on a broadcast station.
I love how you can hear someone say “oh my god” under their breath when he drops the f-bomb.
I can’t stand Morning Joe - it’s easily the worst MSNBC show - but that was a quality rant.
