Trump Administration Part 2

I understand this thread as relating mainly to Trump part deux, but Trump is vast enough to contain two simultaneous threads.

US to get some sort of rwanda agreement like the uk had? Send them all to equatorial guinea or somewhere else that could never support them?

Apparently this guy is handling military/pentegon hires for the Trump 2.0 transition

IMO one is “Donald Trump is a lunatic” and the other is “Terrible things about the second Trump administration”.

Several states have tried this on there own. Which meant immigrants moving out of the state rather than be arrested by state/county/whoever cops and turned over to the feds.

When it’s state by state, it has always blown up in the state’s face and been repealed before the next harvest.

If it’s the whole lower 48 without any resistance from states to the deportation process, that could be a different scenario in terms of immigrants leaving before it takes effect. Or not. There’s several plausible scenarios.

It’s truly disturbing how unprepared and ignorant politics junkies are. There’s so much plainly laid out that people don’t know shit about. Why read about immigration ten years ago, surely it was all reasonable then

Gonna need a more open border if we ship all our produce from Mexico. Hope no fentanyl gets on those trucks.

why are people convinced Trump would be helpful to Bibi on Gaza? By numerous accounts he hates Bibi. He is far more loyal to Putin than to Israel. And it’s not like Biden did much to help Gaza.

It might be wishful thinking here, but i think there’s above 0% he’s actually going to be better, perhaps unintentionally.

Maybe he doesn’t like Bibi, but he definitely hates Palestinians and would celebrate their genocide in both Gaza and the West Bank. Funding Israel is Republican orthodoxy at this point, and even if Trump doesn’t personally love Bibi, he’s not going to buck his party on that one.

I didn’t know Trump didn’t like Bibi. They seem to be pretty tight publicly. Bibi certainly thinks Trump is better for him, no? And he and Jared have seemed very close to Israel and SA. Jared has floated moving the Gazans to the Negev and making the coastline in Gaza a resort, which seems right up Trump’s alley. Trump moved the embassy to Jerusalem. Trump’s platform includes deporting people who protest against Israel - yes, his actual published Republican Party Platform.

I’ve read some accounts of it in Herbew as well. I think that Russia anti-israel stance might be a factor but i guess it’s a long shot.

Another pretty dark phenomenon I’ve been seeing that I’m not sure anyone is talking about, is how some on the left have now turned on Latinos, Muslims, and white women who voted for Trump. Are marginalized groups going to get hated on from both sides now?

It’s hard not to roll your eyes at a woman that voted to expand abortion or an immigrant that thinks they are gonna be safe from ICE.

My guess is that Trump will try to force other muslim countries to absorb the remaining Palestinians. Then Palestine no longer exists and we don’t have to deal with this conflict for the next 100 years.

He could hardly be worse, considering the US has done zero to intervene. I mean I guess he could park a destroyer in the Mediterranean and shell Gaza himself.

His expected Secretary of State is paving the way to bomb? invade? Iran by running around saying that they are trying to assassinate Trump.

We hear him talk? We see how attacks escalated right before the election? We know what him and his supporters think about Muslims and Palestine?
