I got no bile for you liking chill, repetitive electronic music. I may not like it as much as you, really, but that’s your bag and part of the game. But I did go through the effort of listening to the artists in your OP with whom I was unfamiliar, and there was good representation of country/bluesy/soulful white guys with guitars that I thought I could play to. My only real complaint there would be that for as much as a chill electronica style of music has succeeded in this walrus, you might have tipped us off earlier.
I will, however, remain rustled about being told that my submission with five woodwind players including two woodwind soloists had none.

I think this is a fantastic selection if you are going more for the boredom of a rainy day than the sadness. I went sadness, but I love this pick for boredom
I would definitely call this a beat but Quantic aka Will Holland really blurs the lines. He plays guitars, bass, double bass, piano, organ, saxophone, and accordion so even when he makes a classic downtempo track like this it sounds really rich.
His sister plays the sax and the dobrato guitar on this one.

Still I knew that this kind of singing was risky if you don’t understand the words. Had you understand them though you would have known that this song is about a sunny day with nothing much to do, so w/e.

I get what you are going for here and the song nails the liquor you chose (All of them), but the song was terrible and it was a little too vague.

I actually have no idea what ZZ Top was thinking when they named this song. I just took a look at a cocktail list that has Chartruese in it and most of them are prohibition style, which is way off from the sounds of this song. Maybe they were drinking it straight? I don’t know.
