Hep vaccines fail in a certain percentage of people. I’ve had both series of vaccines twice and am not immune to either. I’m also not immune to measles despite half a dozen MMR vaccines in my life.

They do something different the second time which often works. It only fails twice with like 3% of the population or something (don’t quote me on that but it pretty low). Lucky me.

They’re a little awkward, but manageable. One of my early partners was pretty JohnnyTruant esque when it came to protection, so I think it just became part of my routine, at least until testing protocols and an expectation of monogamy have been established.

I got the first injection of hepatitis B vaccine in late February and missed the scheduled follow up in April because covid. Is there a chance I’m covered or do you need both? (Not a redhead.)
I’m pretty sure you need both but no expert.
Hep B is a 3 shot series. Assume you are not covered. The minimum time frames are most important so you should be able to pick up where you left off in the series whenever you want.
Edit: I guess there is a 2 dose series now. Maybe I’ll try that one
My girl actually loves it. She is half Arab and really appreciates not having to spend time shaving. I’ve had mouth ulcers or cold sores , fever blisters since I can remember.
