The entire US military arsenal is stationed on it’s home continent and has to stave off the rest of the world from trying to invade it. How good would they perform and also no Nukes involved.

As for the scenario at hand, I assume also no bio-chem warfare besides no nukes. If bio-chem is on the table I don’t know what happens since who knows what the Russians or China (Covid++ ?) have in stock.
The first thing the US had to do was establishing a secure perimeter. This means invading Canada (maybe including Greenland & Iceland) which would be a huge potential deployment zone for invading the US. The same holds for Mexico; in fact they should invade the whole of Central America along with Colombia and Venezuela, securing the Panama Canal and the Venezuelan oil fields (+ Columbian coke to take the edge off).
A quick RotW Victory would rely on hindering these efforts. If the U.S. can pull it off (which I think they can) they are pretty much golden imo. With no trade with the RotW they should be able to secure their coastlines easily. D-Day style landing operations at the east- or the west coast would be a nightmare. RotW could try to come from the North in the summers, but I don’t think that’s sustainable. An invasion from the south would eventually get halted in Panama or Costa Rica.
At the same time the U.S. would be pretty much out of the picture on the rest of the globe. Since the U.S. air superiority relies on their overseas bases, all they can do to the RotW is bombing strategic targets with ICBMs and drones, which doesn’t do much harm with conventional warheads.
So I predict that the outcome would be some jungle fighting between RotW and the U.S. dragging on along the Amazon as the one hot zone in some kind of cold war + a bit of ICBM terror. There is no scenario where the U.S. could force the RotW to surrender, or even conquer the RotW, because where would they even start? They might be able to take South America eventually, but that’s it.

If I remember correctly from the game Invasion America, one precondition is that the US Navy has already been destroyed. In fact, unless the Navy and the Air Force are both destroyed, I don’t really see how the rest of the world could ever mass troops close enough to the US to initiate a serious invasion.

Is it just the rest of the world’s standing militaries as they are now, or do they get to ramp up enlistment/conscription at the start of the war?
If it’s just current militaries as they exist today, no add ons, we have a shot. If they get to ramp up, we just don’t have the numbers and defeat is inevitable.

smh. crazy how different you are from mid 30’s to mid 40’s. you think you make the jump from mid 20’s to mid 30’s, but for me at least the jump happened from 30’s to 40’s. but i still have “2+2=5” tattooed on my chest from 12 years ago 
once again makes me very thankful there wasn’t social media and an all-remembering internet in my teens

also interesting to see how back in 2014, i still had patriotism. some of it was sarcasm, but man has that changed in 12 years.
i still have “usa#1” tattooed on my knee from back then during a world cup or something. now i’m like, #1 at what?
