it won’t matter

I don’t think it’ll matter. It struck me as odd to be able to lie that much against your own reality. Like I don’t think I could ever be able to talk against my own experience with such confidence. It’s not the biggest or the worst lie ever told, but still

It’s easy when you have a lot of experience with it. For example, when a fish engages me in conversation justifying their recent horrendous play, their reasoning always makes sense and I would play it the same way.

As long as you vote for Republicans it’s fine. But mail in voting for Dems is bad, ldo.

I love how we’re all thrilled now to just go back to R’s normal quasi-legal voter suppression instead of insurrections.

It’s always projection

According to a DOJ press release, Phuong Taylor faces more than 50 felony charges, including 26 counts of providing false information in registering and voting, three counts of fraudulent registration, and 23 counts of fraudulent voting.

Cliffs:

Republican controlled NC Court overrules itself on three things.

  1. It finds itself no longer competent to adjudicate redistricting decisions, giving no judicial oversight to congressional maps.
  2. Mandatory photographic voter ID is now considered constitutional
  3. Overrules lower court decision allowing felons who have completed their sentence to vote . All aspects of their sentence must now be completed.

On redistricting:

“Our constitution expressly assigns the redistricting authority to the General Assembly subject to explicit limitations in the text, Those limitations do not address partisan gerrymandering. It is not within the authority of this Court to amend the constitution to create such limitations on a responsibility that is textually assigned to another branch. Furthermore, were this Court to create such a limitation, there is no judicially discoverable or manageable standard for adjudicating such claims.”

Came to post about that decision. Sickening. WAAF

We have now entered the age where right-wing paid blue checks bubble to the top of the comments on all these. Not good.

Yep. Twitter comments were never great, but I think the only time I read them now is when you mention how bad they are and I’m too weak to not go and look.

An expert at using this forum should know how to scroll past the garbage to get to the useful bits.

Wow that somehow aligns with Republican political goals.
