Yeah they were never going to let us have anywhere near as fair of an election in the runoff.
The theory behind the use of violence in this scenario is that you can be so much trouble that the oppressors find the cost of oppressing so high that they cave. So, you have to be willing to accept increased short-term suffering of the vulnerable, the hostages of society.

That said, this shit it ridiculous.
While they’re doing HR 1 they need to take certification duties away from state legislatures. Every GOP controlled state legislature is going to just refuse to certify when they lose.
I wonder if this type of stuff will work a little.

As far as I know this is the first time Hollywood has uttered a peep and it’s long overdue. They need to pull completely out of Georgia and not come back.
They could definitely come back to the Solidly blue state GA is going to be when all this shit shakes out. Seriously they are already taking tons and tons of fire three months into this little voter suppression campaign and they have to survive all the way to election day 2022. No possible way that happens with Donald still out there forcing them to massively overplay their hand.

Fort Worth has had abysmal turnout in its city elections dating back to the 1990s. Among the 30 largest cities in the nation, Fort Worth was ranked 29th in voter turnout, according to a 2016 report by Portland State University. Only Dallas was lower than Fort Worth.
Some elections see barely more than 5% of registered voters turning up for city council elections.
