Incomprehensible.
But they’re disrupting the something something.
“We lose money on every transaction but we make up for it with high volume.”
I dont get who’s the moron in this new economy (other than me). Draftkings losing 10 figs and theyre a fucking casino. Stock goes up.
I’m short DASH now, so there’s a ~99% chance that I’m the moron.
yeah you def are. so i spotted two morons now. but seriously how does this shit been working for so long?
Assuming they lose money on every transaction, the more you buy they quicker they will fail - just need to Sliceline them.
This is more lol at where I live than at Doordash, but I just looked at what’s available to me and the options are absolutely DREADFUL. If I still lived in downtown Chicago or Philadelphia, I’d probably be much more enthusiastic.
Everything is too big to fail now
The economics still don’t make any sense, there is no way to make money in the food delivery business because consumers are unwilling to bear the cost (at a price that makes it profitable for the delivery company).
Inflation is up, means stonks go up. Basic math principles folks!
all doordash has to do is get big enough they just buy everyone else and it doesn’t matter
Doordash’s business model is to deny employees a living wage and basic employment benefits while classifying them as business owners, all while pissing off restaurants. Probably equates to a market cap of Berkshire Hathaway.
Rivian is now worth more than gm or Ford.
Instead of scratching your head on figuring why rivian, dash, shiba, tesla, gme , nfts are at their prices, i think it’s better to just accept that the market super influenced by record breaking disposable income and that shorting isn’t worth the potential miss in upside or risk for the funds.
Absolutely nothing is a buy right now.
Well… when you put it that way it sounds like the things you mentioned are buys. Otherwise aren’t you missing the upside
It is even better than that. Elon has options vesting and he has to pay tax on those so he has to sell shares or borrow against them to pay that tax and I am not sure anyone will be able to lend him the billions needed to pay that tax.
