The trial of Roger Stone

Reposting my thoughts from yesterday in the Trump thread on if Stone was convicted:

Roger Stone was perhaps the greatest living icon of Nixon enablers who got away with it and enjoyed greater success than ever in his elder years. He was a vision of what the most corrupt people around powerful politicians could get away with and thrive.

That motherfucker is almost certainly going to prison now. I cannot imagine it doesn’t give even the deepest sociopath a moment’s pause to see their dreams of dying fat and happy and free might get replaced with a prison cell.

I anticipate this will cause both a legal and psychological shift about Trump.
