It sounds exactly like the person who will be Trump’s longest serving Chief of Staff
And it’s over, despite promising otherwise repeatedly, Stone did not testify and the defense didn’t even put on a case.
Some last-minute drama. Verdict will probably drop tomorrow morning.

Also it seems to me the judge telling the lawyer that he is too slow for the jury, is him actually telling the lawyer “I think your are too slow” while trying to avoid seeming biased against the defendant’s side.
I’ve been through this a lot. Anybody who claims to know what is going on in a jury based on their notes is full of shit.
Maybe that’s the only one it’s a hung jury on, all the rest could be acquit.
Exactly. Or it could be hung on the rest but they are close to acquitting on this charge. Or it could be any number of other things including they’ve convicted him on everything else. Or there could be one holdout like there was last time. You can’t tell what’s going on in a jury room by their notes, unless they write it in the note.
Also this trial is MUCH closer to the trump campaign and trump than Manafort was. All it takes is one Magachud on the jury to hang it.
Did you follow the case? The limited amount I’ve seen said it looked like they nailed Stone, but I wasn’t following it that closely.
Not much either other than hearing it looked like they nailed him, but again, juries do unexpected things in both directions all the time.
I was very nervous before the Manafort verdicts, and don’t really have a feeling one way or the other here going into them. I think a guilty verdict helps the impeachment inquiry overall.
This is barely making news right now. I don’t think a conviction does much. I don’t know that an acquittal does either. People’s minds are made up.
Edit: I mean barely making news over the impeachment news.
Yesterday, Nunes called it the ‘Russia Hoax’ that the Mueller report was nothing, etc. in the impeachment hearing. A guilty verdict, especially when the evidence ties Trump to Stone makes that narrative completely invalid. Convictions speak, which is why I hope he gets convicted. But you are right that it’s barely made any news. There’s just too much going on.
Rough morning for Trump.
nice that’s nice
