How much better would Bernie have done if he was an attractive old white dude? His crazy hair definitely lost him a non insignificant amount of votes.
I could go either way on that, but I lean moe towards people who don’t want their taxes raised too much just pick something to make fun of.

At this point, the story being told seems to be less about Pelosi and more about Dore vs AOC, who Dore is painting as a gaslighting Pelosi apologist for not backing his plan.

As I understand Nancy is already the nominee or whatever but progressives can jam the Pelosi vs McCarthy contest. All they would be asking is for a floor vote on the extremely popular policy of Medicare for All during a pandemic.

It’s possible they already extracted some sort of concession for not challenging Pelosi, so insisting on a M4A floor vote would be breaking that deal.
