Watching American Primeval on Neflix and it has the worst, washed out color palette. It’s actually distracting me from the show, why do directors do this? I hate them, take notes from The English.
Yeah I didn’t regret watching American Primeval, but it just seems like a waste of resources when you have the tools to make a great western but you’re just hammering through horror/gore almost to the point of comedy. Bone Tomahawk is the same way.
An awesome blast of nostalgia here for those who want a break from the current horrors and want to relive horrors of our childhood.
Watching it made me a bit sad that my son will never understand the joys of appointment televisions. Sitting down each week to watch TGIF and SNICK are hallmarks of my childhood, and Are you Afraid of the Dark? was always a fun time at sleepovers on Saturday night.
Plus, strange Canadian children telling stories where people have weird ass names like Weed and Ouija!
Started Dark Winds on Netflix tonight after hearing it is a dramatization of the Tony Hillerman Navaho police novels I had read in the 80’s. So far so good, no idea how close they are to the books, my memory of them is in the same place where my algebra knowledge has gone. But it is a period piece and I’m liking all the actors.
Pantheon season 2 officially confirmed for Netflix in mid-February.
You no longer have any excuses. I will consider it a personal afront to me if you do not take 16 hours at some point this year to watch this masterpiece.
Can someone remind me who Petey is? I need cliff on his character story arc, what happened to him, why we’re supposed to care (or be curious). I really have no idea. Just barely remember his name.
What was his job? Was he in MDR?
Why couldn’t his outie just quit? Outie didn’t want to quit?
Is he dead or alive? Or unknown? Or is it a Gemma situation?
