I appreciate the response, but I would recommend replying either with no spoiler tags, or with one spoiler tag covering the entire response.
Having to individually click to unspoil like 15 times I think will ensure that very few people will read what you wrote, it was kind of a pain.
(Day of the Jackal spoilers below)
As for the contents, yeah when Bianca entered his house I was definitely expecting either Bianca to win (if it was a one season show), or some kind of stalemate where they both got away. That he just shot her dead and boom, that was it, was quite a surprise. The fact that they had just made a big deal that she had given up her dangerous work life to be with her husband and daugher, only to immediately make her go away and be killed, made it even more surprising.
I thought Tokyoâs decision to first be like âyou have to kill my brotherâs gangster friendâ and then decide to run away to also be very weird and inconsistent. Itâs not like she did it in a very calculated way, where she always knew she was going to leave him after learning the truth, except hey she also realized she could take advantage of him for this one neat job first. It just played out very unnaturally and in an unsatisfactory way, to me. Purely as a contrivance for season 2, with no regard for the natural progression of the story, imo.
@beetlejuice I just popped on S01E01 of The Last Kingdom to see whatâs up, and thereâs Tom Fucking Wambsgans fecklessly leading a battle against Vikings. Iâm so in.
Iâm visiting my parents for a few days and so watching some normal broadcast TV with them. Shocked how bad itâs gotten. There was some commercial on CBS for a show called FBI: International (comes on after FBI, both produced by Dick Wolf). The dialogue in the promo was, almost verbatim, âIâve interrogated hundreds of suspects before.â âBut youâve never interrogated one who killed your partner!â
I was super involved in the SAG commercial strike in 2000. When it ended there was a star-studded party at Renee Taylor and Joe Bolognaâs house that I got to attend. I am mostly a small fry so it was pretty exciting, there were real stars there in a very casual setting. Anyway I talked to Tom Selleck for about five minutes and he seemed like a nice enough guy but didnât have much to say. I was probably drunk and babbling so kudos to him for tolerating me at all.
Could not watch in India. Not much and when I did it was only streaming on paramount and I ainât signing up for another while 10,000 miles away. I tried to draw from my dvr at home but my internet was no bueno for that.
Saw some of the write-ups. Sounds like it was a fun finale. Will watch at home.
