Final season of What We Do in the Shadows started this week. I think they already dropped three episodes. Wife and I watched the first - great, as always. This is one of those shows where I will really miss the characters when it’s over.
Liked the first episode also.
I’ll miss it, but I’d rather them end the series on a high note.
My favorite part of the first episode:
The other vampires kept mocking the way Laszlo’s speaks
Episode 2 was even better. They’re definitely going out on top if they keep this up.
Three episodes in and this is fantastic.
Escape at Dannemora is like what if someone got together a stacked cast and an incredible script, filmed a ton of footage for a movie, then got in the edit room and found there was simply too much amazing stuff so it was better to assemble the whole thing into an eight episode limited series.
When I say this is a stacked cast, I mean it is STACKED. Directed by Ben Stiller, starring Benicio del Toro, Patricia Arquette, Paul Dano, Bonnie Hunt, Eric Lange, and David Morse.
Based on a true story. Now on Netflix.
Yeah, this thing was really great.
If someone just described the plot to me I’d be kind of lukewarm about it, but they really knocked it out of the park.

That’s why I hesitated to give it a shot, but my housemate says let’s try it out, and the opening credits listing name after name let me know I was in for a great ride. I almost feel like the synopsis should say “led by a stellar cast, directed by Ben Stiller.” Just a synopsis of the premise might mean too many people are missing out.
Nobody wants This is a very well done rom com that is actually funny
Let’s go
Just finished rewatching season 1 again. So fucking good. Crazy the actor who does Mr. Milchick has done basically nothing since season 1. He is outstanding.
Waffle party time
Waffle party time
To the tune of defiant jazz
I’m not kidding if they don’t give us more waffle parties I’m going to vote for Trump. You got to give the people what they want.
A character on a new show I’m watching was described as a “retired clickbait journalist.” lol
Okay. Question.
In the millions of tv shows and movies set in the halls of American schools, has there ever been a character who used one of the lockers on the bottom row?
Always the top row right?
If they ever did, it would be an acknowledgment of low status for the character. I can imagine the geeks from Freaks and Geeks having done it, but I don’t know if they did.

I laughed like an idiot, by myself, at the scene in episode 02. It’s not “WKRP turkey” funny, but it’s in the ballpark.
Somehow I completely missed Modern Family.
I’ve just started and watched 9 episodes today.
You’ll continue to enjoy that one if you were that into the first nine. Personally never got tired of it or felt like turning it off before the series was done.
That’s one of those shows that I enjoy once in awhile. Don’t think I could watch it often. Hotel room on a work trip, I’m in.
Never vibed with Modern Family
