Speaking of Battlestar Galctica… surprise appearance from Baltar in this week’s Picard. It’s been so long!
How is the new Season of Picard?
Disappointing for people who want more action or hate wokeness.
Watched the first few and didn’t like it at all and this is really, really not looking good. Star Trek: Picard (2020-2023) ratings - Rating Graph
Ouch
It’s not great, but I will watch every episode they make.
Fwiw, I checked out midway through Discovery this season, and just finished it. It has the highest critics ratings and… meh.
Picard has Q, Guinan, time travel, and an alternate reality, all things that I like.
Watched the final season of “Killing eve” but didnt really enjoy it anymore.
I’m in the middle of this, kind of over it as well. New episodes don’t really get me excited and I’ve been letting them stack up a bit.
I really wish they could have found some sort of financial/other incentives big enough to keep Phoebe Waller-Bridge around past the first season, even if they had to wrap the show after two seasons. They had a new writer every year, and I can’t help but think that that led to a lot of wheel spinning as the new folks had to get their sea legs under them and figure out how to write for certain characters.
And don’t even get me started on the ending. I’m still kinda salty about it.
thought the first two eps of BCS final season were pretty good, so no surprise there.
I did not expect kim to break bad so hard. there were a couple visual hints that things will not end well for her.
sidenote: why do many hotels have new TVs with no streaming apps?
I absolutely love that Kim is breaking hard against the fucking Kettlemens. Vince needs you to be on Kim’s side this entire time, but he also needs to spark her change, so who better to do it against than the absolute scum of the earth. You can’t root against her in that scene at the end with the Kettlemens, because you would have to then root for them, and thats a serious no go.
But she’s really breaking bad against Howard rather than the Kettlemans. Even Jimmy had his doubts about bringing down Howard.
Seems Kim is the real driving force behind the Jimmy to Saul transformation.
Blur spoilers please
starting Station Eleven, how much theater/play stuff do I have to deal with?
Some but not a ton IMO.
