That show exists and itā€™s a ranch instead of a car dealership, Yellowstone. Like ten times more people watch it than Succession.

Would LOVE to see this but I canā€™t bring myself to pay for Peacock.

Itā€™s worse than you think. I pay for it, and they still cram in multiple commercial breaks per episode

Someone cool should start a TV thread #2.

I just noticed this one has over 10k posts.

Iā€™ve read all the books so that is probably helping me even though my memory is kind of shit.

I should probably rewatch S1 but I think that season just pulled content from the two books that were just a bunch of short stories about Gerald and some of the other main characters in the series. Now in S2 weā€™re starting to follow the main Witcher story which is the good stuff.

I am reading the short stories at the moment and can confirm that the show is a mostly faithful adaptation. Yennefer didnā€™t have an eyes wide shut orgy palace in the books though.

Season Two of Euphoria looks bonkers

anyone watching station 11? the buzz is pretty amazing but Iā€™m not sure if I can take any pandemic dystopian fiction right now

Havenā€™t started watching yet but probably will eventually because the book (and writer) are household favorites. The book itself is terrific, if youā€™re luke warm about watching the show just read the book or her other amazing book from last year.

Mostly agree with this. Iā€™ve read both books but have no real desire to watch the show and probably wonā€™t. Itā€™s not a book-better-than-show thing. Her novels are simply 100% complete reading experiences for me and I just canā€™t imagine a TV show is going to add anything to that.

While S3 of Cobra Kai is undeniably the weakest, I really enjoy the Chozen storyline. Word on the street is he will return for S4 and beyond

Witcher S2 good up until the final episode, I did not enjoy the deathless mother crap at all.

Done with my rewatch. S3 isnt as bad as I remember. And of course, Elizabeth Shue gets all of the points for being awesome.

This is far an away the most succesfull thing to ever come out of Youtube red, right?

As with previous multimedia technologies its success will be predicated on whether this can be used for porn.

Finished the first season of Y: The Last Man. I was entertained. Itā€™s not high art nor is it ridiculous, which it could have easily been.

The season is uneven, but the coach beard ep is probably the best of the series imo.

??? its literally the worst rated episode of the series
