They had the purple app basically all to themselves. Now their just another one of the many ones that are blue.

My wife, who generally gives zero shits about such things, is absolutely outraged by “Max”.
I like the name Max. I was planning on cancelling the HBO subscription when it is up for renewall, but I can’t bring myself to cancel Max. Makes the service feel like a family pet imo.

Finally got onto Max last night and watched the two most recent episodes of Barry. This show is going to some dark places.

It’s had such an interesting evolution. It started as a dark comedy that was mostly comedy. Now it’s mostly dark with a little bit of comedy. The latest episode had a lot more laugh-out-loud scenes, though, than others this season.
I liked it better as more of a comedy, but it’s still really good and I applaud Hader for the risks he’s been taking.
