Alright im in
Anyone still watching Survivor? The person who won this season is not who I expected to win, but in the end, it was pretty awesome that they did.
Watched the first four episodes of Willow. Very standard fantasy, but not super-grim like GoT/HotD and very watchable because the characters are likeable (unless youâre an angry incel). Itâs fun but not very deep.
Warwick Davis is the weak link acting-wise. It feels like Willow is written to be like Gandalf, a wise person who knows more than he tells his company, when I think it would have been better to have written Willow to be more old and bitter like Like Skywalker in the sequel trilogy.
Donât like that he won because I am a strategy guy but canât deny he is a good dude and he sold me in the after show.
Iâm looking for a show to watch and I have landed on Mr. Inbetween? Good? OK? Great? Donât want to spoil myself by looking into it too much. Also if anyone who has seen it could fill in the blank below, that would help
If you liked __________, then you will like Mr. Inbetween.
Shows ive never heard of
Anyone seen Samurai Jack? Generally awesome reviews and helps that itâs the same dude who made Primal, but curious if anyone here has thoughts.
Was scrolling HBO Max and noticed that Westworld is being removed tomorrow, wtf
theyâre shopping a bunch of shows, including Westworld, out to free watch companies, like The Roku Channel.
I think they have a landing place for Westworld but forget where it is.
The new season is recent and really good, saw the original ones as a kid so canât speak as much to them.
The current CEO is truly a fucking moron, heâs about to collapse all their streaming into something called âMaxâ thereby obliterating the HBO brand which is incredibly valuable and credible with their most affluent and desirable customers.
Not sure if anyone besides me still watches SNL every week, but they did a nice send-off for Cecily Strong.
Colin Jost looks so damn sad and makes a rare non-Update appearance.
EP2 of S1 of White Lotus in the books. Completely hooked and I have no idea why.
set in a future where societal collapse has destroyed all culture. the queen of england (not shown) commissions william shakespeare jr the fifth to rewrite the great plays, including king lear, the movie weâre watching.
but donât expect to follow the plot or understand the actorsâ lines with animal sounds bleating over them or godard narrating counter-dialogue underneath an actor at near equal volume. to me, itâs not more inscrutable than any other shakespeare. the less sense it makes to me, the more i assume itâs faithful to the original.
5 bags
free to stream here probably because no sane person would ever pay for the rights even at the height of streaming mania
Just saw the trailer for 1923 which belongs to the Yellowstone shows. I am a little confused if that plays 40 years after â1883â why are their no familiar names. The character played by Helen Mirren who is kinda old should have been on the trip with them in 1883 or am I wrong. There is apparently someone playing the little brother of Elsa but he doesnt look older than Harrison Ford so his character also magically appeared. Not sure I will watch that I am more interested in the journey than the standard fighting among families.
Confused. Is Paramount is releasing episodes of both Yellowstone season 5 and 1923 right now?
