Gus comes back to life and he takes Kim and Jimmy on a holiday to an Italian resort where they make a killing scamming miserable people.
rewatched: yeah, that was weird. especially since she was doing it right in front of her and kept saying it over and over.

I think the writerâs intent was to show what itâs like working as a minority serving spoiled rich white people. And even more specifically, someone whoâs quite talented and probably capable of running a successful business stuck being subservient to those who in many cases are not, but the difference is who has access to funding. Itâs not the most tragic arc on the individual level but itâs a pretty frustrating commentary on who we let get ahead in our society.

I think itâs as simple as thatâs what women in her situation do. It takes a huge amount of support to break away, something Belinda may have been able to provide in better circumstances, but she was emotionally drained from dealing with Tanya. Itâs one of the many examples the show writes where people make massive life altering decisions based on an environment that can be set by incredibly small, unrelated, random events.
Agreed, the hotel manager storyline is utterly uninteresting to me. Following Armand is pretty rough, but they dropped the ball here.
finally finished Andor, overall great series but wow the climax of the finale was a little weak IMO. Feels like Homeland season 1 where the season finale should have ended one way but they had to set up the next season so it had a little fizzle instead of a bang.
To pile on the Peacock hate, I saw the âBarneyâ documentary and thought it would be some good fluff while I work out. Itâs super bad and annoying and attempts to draw a parallel between the Barney backlash and stuff like Qanon. Good lord itâs stupid. And the story itself isnât interesting, at all. And the search function on Roku is so bad that searching âBarneyâ didnât find it, I had to look elsewhere for the title (I love you, you hate me) and search for that.
Thatâs not an unreasonable take
The prison break definitely felt like the emotional climax of the season. The finale felt predictable, but was still really well done. I canât wait for season 2.
I try to learn something new every day; today I learned thereâs a chipmunk taking LOL WUT pearâs picture, and in the background giraffes are walking home to their tall, skinny house
About to start season 3 of ozark. Isnât our resident extra actor in S3E1?
NM. Found the posts.
Thatâs why I struggled to sympathize with Belinda. I was just thinking, âWell you fucked with her first. Karma is a bitch.â
It sounds pretty much like no one else reacted that way.
Thank to whoever suggested Columbo, Iâve been enjoying season 1. Loled at this moment:
Columbo still holds up today and is a certified 5-bagger
Colombo GOAT
QFT
Columbo reruns are broadcast every night on Japanese cable TV.
I think the original Columbo doesnât just hold up, it actually improves with age. It maintains all of itâs unique charms, and as time goes on it works incredibly well as a preservation of 70s culture. Like it you wanted to make a 1970s period drama now, you couldnât find a better fashion / design template than vintage Columbo.
Just feast your eyes on this shit.
Iâve posted about this before, but my wife and I saw the forgettable movie âMadeâ one random night in a theater. Peter Falk was there, and afterward stood outside the theater shaking hands and chatting with people. This was not a premier or a screening, just a random showing. It was hilarious and awesome. On our way out of the parking garage we saw him chatting with people in their cars while they were in line to get out.
