If I ever own a shopping center I’m naming it Aubrey Plaza.
I would do this in the hopes she shows up Peter Falk style.
incel? no reference to christopher? fail.
White Lotus S2 theories are interesting though
Quentin leads a lavish lifestyle so why would he and Greg need Tanya’s money enough to take the risk of trying to murder her?
otoh
We know several people end up dead and this is Sicily after all…say no more?
Also cockney lad is annoying as hell
there is a prenup.
I know and it’s the clue to the plan, but Quentin is clearly loaded so why do they even need her money enough to take on the risk of murdering her?
Also is the Sicily history of Chrissie’s family a pointer to a darker intention behind their holiday or are the screenwriters using the Sopranos to fuck with our brains?
i have the grandpa as one of the deaths. maybe underneath the singer.
Back in the day when Criminal Minds was thing for me I wanted her so bad to get away.
Do we know that Quentin is “loaded,” though? It is heavily implied, sure, but we have no direct evidence of it. We assume he is or at least comes from the upper crust of British society, but there is no indication that any of the money is his. For all we know, he and his compatriots scammed their way to Sicily.
In any event, they’ve ham-fistedly revealed that he is at least not who he claims to be based on the final scene of the most recent episode…which I found highly irritating, by the way. Have sex behind an unlocked door so the five idiots in the audience who still don’t get it can catch up, even though the entire freaking episode felt like exposition? Sure okay!
But anyhow, my feeling is that, as you two were discussing regarding the prenup, I think maybe Uncle Rico owes these guys some money, maybe lots of money, and he is plotting with them to scam her somehow to get himself out of debt, perhaps a murder plot?
Did you happen to see the one post where the person went through the opening credits and did character analysis based on the paintings? I thought it was pretty insightful, if widely open to interpretation. I will see if I can find it.
edit:
Tomorrow Netflix is going to be releasing Berserk, an anime from 1997 that I’ve never seen before but sounds promising. Soundtrack should be interesting:
Berserk 's soundtrack has also been praised by critics. Ross said that the opening and ending themes were “two of the least appropriate songs I have ever heard for an anime series”, but that Hirasawa’s background tracks are “rather memorable”, highlighting “Berserk -Forces-”, which he called “an object lesson in how to use a synthesizer and reverb completely wrong, and yet still come up with something interesting and fresh anyway”,
I just listened to that track and don’t really get the criticism. Maybe it was unusual in 1997 to somebody who didn’t listen to electronic music, but kinda seems like you’d have to be living under a rock for the past 25 years to still think that way.
Somehow hadnt seen this before. Very good. Her reaction to Da Bomb was fantastic.
My boy Super Eyepatch Wolf is adamant about people watching/reading this. So much so that he made 2 videos about it 6 years apart.
Just finished S1 of 1899. I’m liking it even though it’s definitely slow. Really hope it doesn’t get cancelled mid run now Netflix barely lets anything run its course any more. Can you all just set it running in the background to fuck with the metrics for me?
I’ve seen 3 eps, intending to watch the rest. It’s crushing it pretty hard on Netflix, one of their most watched shows right now, so I assume we’ll get more seasons.
