O/U on Jimmy getting busted and going to jail? Think thereâs a more than decent chance thatâs the final episode.
Also, isnât it a bit out of character that he was basically willing to murder the poor drugged dude with that statuette or whatever? Have we ever seen any violent tendencies on Jimmyâs part before?
Watched the woodstock documentary, pretty cool story (although if Iâm honest half of the footage just made me want to be there).
As far as crazy netflix docs go, Iâm sure many here will have already seen it, but watching âwild wild countryâ with zero knowledge of the facts was amazing. For the first few eps when things get crazier and crazier, I was seriously wondering if this was not a fake documentary.
I didnt think the episode was bad, just very ambitious so early on. Like I said, it reminds me a lot of LCD Soundsystem from Youârr the Worst which is one of my favorite TV episodes period, it just comes a lot later in the series than this one which gave a chance to reslly understand the show and the characters before the ambition
Not braining the guy and not hurting Carol Burnette are supposed to show that no matter how bad Jimmy is, he still hasnt stooped to the level of some of the more heinous characters in the BB/BCS universe.
Will put my strong disagreement with this in spoilers, even though it doesnât spoil anything. This touches on the foundational problem with BCS (a show I enjoy a lot ftr), that the Saul Goodman character from BB was completely irredeemable. All of the major BB characters were heinous to some degree, but that was tempered by some level of internal conflict or character development. Goodman was the major exception â at no point was he any less than amoral and unencumbered by any positive characteristics or depth. IIRC he wasnât even particularly intelligent or good at his job. I canât imagine that anyone ever thought to ask for the backstory of his character, but if you are going to spend 7 years making one, you must make him a bit more complicated and sympathetic than the source material. For sure, the Saul Goodman from BB would kill someone for a few bucks â that was literally a running joke on the show!
The Most Hated Man on the Internet is about the quest to take down the first major revenge porn site. If Woodstock 99 provided a peek to misogyny at music festivals in the 90s, this is a door kicked open to that short time span when the internet was brand new and the pyschopaths to took advantage of it. I kind of remembered there was that bad boy donât get a fuck phase when I was younger, Tucker Max and this guy, but Jesus it was just pure shit.
Tucker Max and Maddox were funny when YT and YTMNDs werenât a thing and I was a teenager who had no real values other than wanting to laugh.
As for Maddox, dude has had a hell of a downfall since he failed to adjust to social media. Tucker Max probably got some cush job doing nothing through his dad.
