Better Call Saul is about people being advised to call Saul.
Itās secretly a Cinnabon informercial.

I donāt know what you people have been doing with your lives if watching Die Hard again is an option for you. Iāve seen Die Hard about as many times as Iāve heard Sweet Child Oā Mine, it is GOAT but inert to me. Hot Fuzz oth would have been great, but maybe A Fish Called Wanda is a stronger choice.
Hi smrk. How are you??? Happy when you pop out of lurking and say hi <3
We are probably watching it for different things. For me, my viewing of a movie changes every time. For a movie I love, it changes enough to keep me coming back. Everything in the movie is the same, but I usually am not. I watch it from a different characterās POV, I suddenly empathize with a character in a way I never could before, or I learned something about the production that makes me watch the movie in a new way.
Lately, itās been a trip to watch movies from my childhood and realize what It means for me to now be older than the actors at the time of those movies.
This is why true porn connoisseurs prefer gangbang scenes.
Hey, Iām doing fine, just lurking more. Doing the next level thing of quarantining from the quarantined and doing less Internet.
It would be a bold thing to say that Iāll never watch Die Hard again, but I just canāt, Iāve seen it too many times. I can close my eyes and watch any scene I like from memory any time basically.
Nice man. Well before we watch the movie, we will watch the 45 minute āDie Hardā episode of The Movies that Made Us. I hope you will consider joining us for that.
The Hot Dog car one was my favorite.
Ok, more Ozark poker scene.
After getting done with wardrobe, hair, and makeup, the four of us were escorted to the set. It was incredible. The interior casino is just built on a stage. Looks like nothing from the outside - plywood, etc. When you enter, though, you would never know you werenāt in a casino. It was insanely impressive. Two stories, as well.
We walked past the poker table and I noted to myself that there were eight seats plus the dealerās chair. There were only four of us, so unless there were four actors, they were going to have empty seats. Someone clearly realized this, too, as a bit later, they brought two female extras in. The two actors were Frank Jr. and the guy who wins the big hand against him.
The four of us were taken into the count room - the room in the casino where they collect the cash boxes from the tables. Again, looked like the real thing (not that Iāve ever been in one). There, the PA or AD or whoever he was explained the scene to us. When he was done, I told him that I had 14 years in the industry and wanted to know if I could speak up if I saw something wrong in the poker game.
I knew what the answer would be: no.
After that, we just hung out on the first floor of the casino for a little bit, sitting at the slot machines while they got the scene set.
lol i almost spit up my drink when they showed the guy in the ketchup and mustard suit
This is what I was saying. Hot Fuzz is an elite movie
Your stories make me think a lot about Extras with Ricky Gervais
His conversation with Patrick Stewart was legend.
I already suggested this upthread and it went nowhere, but you should seriously think about an AMA. Maybe start it off with a list of everything that youāve been an extra in. This shit is fascinating to me.
dlk,
whereās Ozark filmed?
Bob et al.,
Mike didnāt kill Lalo for the same reason Gus wanted to make sure Lalo was bailed out in the first place-- if anything happens to Lalo, the Cartel is going to war against Gus, whether or not he did it. Now, I think Mike could and would have killed Lalo if Jimmy had given him up, and just dealt with the fallout later-- I mean, if Lalo lives with that information, heās going to act on it immediately-- but it didnāt come to that.
Also, I agree with CanadaMatt about the car.
Re: JohnnyTruantās post, Iāve liked this season better than last; I really felt like season 4 was more of a caricature of itself, the signature BB / BCS style without the feel for the why and the sense of forward momentum in the story. Lots of montages and lots of scenes where we donāt know whatās going on or information is intentionally withheld from us until much later, along with some sideplots I didnāt much care for that felt like efforts not to advance the main plot.
Glasses. Seat 4.
I guess Amazon worked out some deal with all streaming providers? I can now re-up on all free trials. Just got a new HBO trial and I once again wonder why I ever let it cancel.
hbo is a top tier streaming service
speaking of, on HBO tonight Bill Maher lays out how Trump wins re election: By being positive (āHopeā āthe only thing we have to fear is fear itselfā) while we doom and gloom it. I gotta admit it got to me.
