Doom Patrol season 3 began last week. First episode finishes off the previous season that ended early on a cliffhanger due to COVID. And then we have more fucked up fun. A mysterious character played by an actress I recognize. Some relatively obscure characters that I had to look.
Very cool, even if your screen time was limited! I had a similar situation in the last commercial I was in. It was for WSFS Bank and I was supposed to be on screen for one of the scenes. A girl was supposed to walk behind the desk I was sitting at, but she couldnât get the timing right so they had her sit down and me do the walk on cue. Must have seen my legs on TV 100 times when that commercial was airing, and her stupid face just sitting there on screen.
The library scene here, you can barely catch my legs going off screen lol: https://www.ispot.tv/ad/dGkP/wsfs-bank-some-things-will-never-change
Just watch the first episode of Foundation. Unfamiliar with the source material. Hard to figure out whats what so far. Worth continuing or bailing?
i agree. i loved it but i just finished alice in borderland (5 bags) and think squid game could have been improved by adding dozens of hot chicks in bikinis to the mix
iâm at the same point as you. not what i thought, but iâll probably have it on in the background while i work
Yeah this nails it. Otherwise very fun show
Just watched my first episode of Seinfeld.
Itâs weird to me that Alice in Borderland didnât become a smash hit like Squid Game has become.
I only watched a few episodes of Alice in Borderlands but I thought the character development was pretty meh. Squid games was much better.
I thought The Rain was pretty good. I tend to like post apocalyptic/survival type shows more than most though.
Same. Plus Alice has that catchy pop song that they play over and over.
Think it was mostly the algorithm at work. When Alice came out I basically didnât see it on my menus. Squid game was plastered everywhere.
It gets better. (Unless you watched a really good episode and didnât just start from the pilot)
Ted lasso continues to deliver
But one thing
Fuck Nate
I believe it was the first episode. It was fine but Iâm happy to give it time to develop.
Was some combination of not living in the country/didnât own a TV and missed it during its run and wasnât inclined to watch reruns.
Huge fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm, so though it feels a little dated, now that itâs on Netflix itâs time to give it a focused watch.
Does it have a hot chick in a bikini doing martial arts?
My favorite Seinfeld episode is the one where he dates a 17 year old high schooler and no one talks about it because thereâs too much money at stake. Ha ha hilarious!
Watched the danish crime show âThe chestnut manâ on netlix. Was exciting stuff but my god am I over it that every cop has family problems. Not just one detective no both. It almost seems there is barely a cop in the world who can combine job with family.
Then I watched another show from Korea which sounded interesting " Extracurricular". I ended up fastforwarding alot because I found the main character and one of the sides super annoying and just wanted to see how it ends. I get that he has problems socialising but switching back and forth from having badass moments to just standing there with big eyes and not knowing what to say/to do gets tiring pretty quickly for me.
On to the next. After a long period of just watching movies I am back in the mood for shows apparantly.
