This was circulating today on my work Slack channel. Thanks for sharing here. Best thing Netflix has done in a long time.

Occupied is pretty good. Kinda grunching so I don’t know if it’s been talked about but basically Norway finds a new way to produce a ton of clean energy because climate changing is fucking up the world. And the other countries get crazy because their economy depends on oil. Russia basically tries to invade Norway and make them produce oil.

Terribly summary but I’m high as shit. Anyways really good show lol

You are welcome!

I agree. Insane that we couldn’t turn off that function. Worse, that sometimes I’d want a preview, but leaving the image hovered did nothing.

hulu recommended me The Mighty Boosh and it’s pretty fun. it’s a british show about two friends who are zookeepers and they get into fantastical adventures with music and ghosts and stuff. it’s pretty dumb, but fun dumb. 4 bags of popcorn

oh yeah and their boss has the worst fake american accent of all time, it’s great

I do not like Netflix’s The Stranger. Way too disjointed. What’s the premise even supposed to be? Not what the trailer sold me.

But an article said HBO’s The Outsider is what you probably want The Stranger to be, and hot damn, four episodes in and I am loving it. We are in the Golden Age of Stephen King adaptations.

Ben Mendelson is fantastic as usual, but the real standout for me is Cynthia Erivo.

Is she the one that plays Holly Gibney? Cause her performance is SOOOOOOOO good

YES. She is so good. An incredible performance. What talent.

I could give two shits about a Broadway musical version of Sister Act, but after hearing Cynthia played the Whoopi role of Dolores, I’m interested just to see her performance.

First 2 outsider, great, second 2 and I’m falling asleep.

I’m hooked if for no other reason than to see if King pulls the ol’ “JFC ALIENS AGAIN?!” ending

Yeah def in for rest, no surprise to “the night of” guys behind this so not a lot of faith.

This was made by the same people? I quite enjoyed The Night Of. You did not?

It started really strong and then the2 lost the plot significantly. But since this is a book maybe it plays to their strengths.

I see your point there. That’s a tough spot, because King usually tells a great story with an awful ending. Tough decision meme.

I’m not gonna say how I know this, but Disney+ is definitely not good at catching people who are sharing accounts.

Watched first episode of October Faction. It doesn’t seem to know what it is, or it is trying to be everything at once. Characters are a bit 1-note at the moment, hoping it will settle down if I watch any more it. Been more interested in YouTube than TV or Streaming lately.

i’m of the opinion that a lot of his stuff is for laughs. like the first time i watched twin peaks the return i was in a stunned silence and i was horrified and shocked at many parts obviously, but twin peaks the return has a TON of laughs.

when i saw david lynch talking all serious like detective shit i’m like alright i’m into it, then i see he’s talking to a monkey, and i laugh, then i get sucked into the dark story he’s telling, then i find out the monkey can talk and i laugh again, but the dark story continues. then the monkey starts singing and i lose my shit laughing and still it ends dark lol What Did Jack Do? 4 bags of popcorn

Just saw an ad saying Westworld season 3 starts next month. What’s the general consensus here? I thought S1 was one of the best seasons of TV I’ve ever seen, and S2 took a brainy high budget show and turned it into… meh. It was fine.

Got to about episode 7 of season 1 and quit. Just didn’t care about any of the characters. If season 2 was worse than looks like I made a good decision.
