He reminds me a little of Tim Minchin, but way more depressed.
I really enjoyed it, but I enjoyed each successive season a little less than the one before.

Apparently true story. My FIL went on an interview to Cincinatti in 1981 because WKRP and wanting to see the sights. Turns out he got a great offer and thatâs how she grew up in Cinci instead of upstate NY.
Just finished Domina, a reasonably accurate (though heavily embellished) look at the early rule of Augustus Caesar from the viewpoint of his wife Livia. I thought it was done really well. Very high production values, good acting, good story. Lots of palace intrigue and underhanded political machinations, quite a bit of death and violence, fair amounts of sex. Pretty much everything you could want from the genre. Really hoping for another season.

Weirdly, Sir Derek Jacobi as Claudius is negotiable for me. I donât really need him. Any other knight will do.
So I watched season 1 of âA discovery of witchesâ because it has an 8.0 imdb rating but the main guy Matthew Goode tries really hard to get me to stop. I cant stand his voice somehow. It just doesnt suits the char of a very old very powerful vampire. Not to mention that I find a lot of the decisions of the main witch naive to say it mildly. Just a complete disregard for the history and lets just run away with the first vampire she meets.
Iâm enjoying Netflixâs Record of Ragnarok. Humanityâs greatest warriors have to fight mythological gods in a comabt tournament with a prog-metal soundtrack. Itâs the kind of thing the Mortal Kombat movie could have been if it wasnât too cowardly to completely lean into its premise.
