The Television Streaming Thread: Now With Felonies

Acme is about a par 5 from my house. Just drove down a different road today. Had to be no house under $750k.

Done!

Iā€™ve never read the graphic novels. In fact, Iā€™m not sure if Iā€™ve ever read a comic book/graphic novel straight through in my life. I have a lot of the Walking Dead series on Kindle, maybe Iā€™ll give them a go. I do enjoy comic book/super hero movies, though.

Just gonna go through and like every post related to Pui Pui Molcar, that was amazing

I had a good IRL lol at the dipshit playing with his phone at a green light. Pui Pui Molcar just tells it like it is and says what weā€™re all thinking, Pui Pui Molcar for President IMO.

Is it as good as Hamtaro?

Iā€™ve read very few myself. I finally read Watchmen and loved it, and then went straight to the HBO series and was blown away by how good it was. Didnā€™t bother me at all that it refused to hew closely to what I had just read.

Yeah the producer grew up in Berwyn (my old house was in Devon, a measly 550kish one). It has to be one of the worst areas in the US if youā€™re trying to portray working class struggles. Clearly just a case of a familiar name being randomly used.

Now add Ted Lasso season 2 for July 23.

This is the area I associate with that accent. East of 320 and south of 3.

I donā€™t know what itā€™s considered out west of Chester.

Season 6 Game of Thrones is sliding downhill. The whole Arya chase sequence was so lol. More like a Marvel action movie than a grim dark fantasy tone of the earlier seasons where, when there was action, it was in service of the plot and not just for the action itself.

If you think that Arya scene is more like a Marvel movie you must have missed Terminator 2. Check it out, itā€™s a good movie.

A little bit, but the season finale was my favorite episode of the whole series, so it certainly wasnā€™t unsalvageable at that point.

Oh you sweet summer child

In my convoluted thoughts I felt like the scene had that frenetic jump over/ slide under action chase scenes that are all over Marvel moves so I felt like the director would be like ā€œSee Marvel, I can do frenetic chase scenes, give me a million dollars.ā€ The pacing just felt so different from what Iā€™d expect for GOT that I was like ā€œoh weā€™re in a new genreā€

I envy you getting to watch Winds of Winter for the first time spoiler free.

I honestly didnā€™t think GoT significantly dropped off until the last 2 episodes. Sure, it suffered a bit from the continuously escalating ridiculousness of the storylines like many series do, but it was otherwise still the same decent show.

Wow canā€™t agree there, S7 was a total snoozefest where every character had the worst plot armor Iā€™ve ever seen (Jamie), they had no idea how to move the story forward concluding with that terrible mass battle scene which was the worst of the seriesā€¦ until the next one. And all of S8 was just one failfest after another, there was no good episodes.

Holy shit is right.

Couldnā€™t disagree more, I donā€™t remember the exact point it started going because Iā€™ve blocked the later seasons out of my mind but it was S6 or 7
