I love The Boys but have a very tough time putting s2 in my top 5 for live action, and if you include animated its probably not top 20.

They touch on something that’s bugged me quite a bit and I’ve brought up before, the number of fans I’ve encountered (not here, thankfully) who think even criticizing the MCU is blasphemous, post the garbage “let people enjoy things” meme, etc. It’s not enough that they won cultural hegemony; everyone must love their stories as much as they do, and the world must never subject them to criticisms of their stories.
Any idea if it’s available anywhere in the US? I’m always looking for a new sitcom to watch.
(Speaking of, the Mrs. and I have been watching Those Who Can’t on HBO Max the last few weeks; that’s been fun. It was on TruTV for three seasons but got canceled. Pretty funny sitcom about shitty teachers, created by a comedy trio based here in Denver.)

In other MCU news, looks like they’re pushing back Black Widow (again) into July. Going to release simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+ (but the premium thing where you have to pay an additional $30 even if you already subscribe).
If they’re going to stream it anyway, I wonder why they also moved the date back? More time for theaters to open? Filling a schedule gap in the Disney+ lineup of previously scheduled MCU shows?
Who in god’s name is shelling out $30 to watch a D-list superhero at home?

The film wants to be about what’s under the skin, but for most viewers it’ll never get beyond what’s not covering it.

You all got me to watch the 1st episode of Falcon and WS by emphasizing all the between the action stuff. Pffft. Way too much guys flying through canyons. Yawn.
If his only superpower is flying, you’re gonna get flying through canyons for sure. Maybe he flies under a bridge!
I’m sad to report that Cobra Kai really slows down after season 1. Might give up after S3E1. S1E1-6 or so were awesome.
Netflix has been churning out a lot of shit lately. Now that they have some real competition it’s like they are slashing production budgets.
